UL Sports Adventure Centre

Owned and run by the University of Limerick Sports Department, the ULAC not only offers land & water-based activities and training to staff and students, but it is also open year-round to the general public. Specializing in School Tours, Kids Camps, Corporate Training and Teambuilding, the ULAC is located only two miles from the town of Killaloe in East Clare, situated on the shore of Lough Derg, with access to one of Ireland’s cleanest and friendliest inland waterways. The wooded hillsides of Crag Hill deliver the perfect environment for many of the land-based activities.

In operation for over a decade, the lakeside location provides easy access to the water with purpose-built piers and slipways which create a modern and safe environment for all water-based activities. It is in close proximity so there are no long journeys when you make your way back to the Centre after completing your activities.

The ULAC Centre offers heated changing facilities and hot showers for ladies and gents as well as a luxury sauna. A Kitchen with a small indoor dining area is also supplied, where hot drinks and refreshments can be prepared. An onsite barbeque/picnic area is available for those summer days, with a large marquee and gazebo in case of showers. A lecture room complete with up-to-date audiovisual lecturing facilities is available for team building activities and all facilities and many of the activities are wheelchair friendly.

The UL Sports Adventure Centre only employ experienced and qualified staff who are specialists in their fields
and make use of safe, modern and exciting teaching and instructing methods.
