"Edward and I had our civil partnership reception in the Absolute Hotel & Spa on the 26th August 2011. From our first meeting with JoAnne Hickey we got a first class service. The day it self went so well and all our guest really enjoyed themselves. From the coffee & tea reception on our arrival to the four course dinner which was out of this world by the way. Everyone said the food was fantastic and that there was plenty of it. The waiting staff were friendly and helpfull. JoAnne and her team did a great job on the room it was beautiful and there was plenty of space for guest to relax and enjoy the meal. The accomodation was excellent and many of our guests who stayed over night agreed. All in all an excellent evening and we highly recommend the Absolute hotel. 5 stars."

“OMG, the food and service was absolutely amazing, everybody was so happy and it could not have been better. I tasted everything and could not fault any of it. The food was superb. Extra thank you to a girl who was looking after us, she had blonde her not sure about her name but you must know who I am talking about. So thank you so much again for organizing everything we had a fantastic day. It’s such a pity that we cannot go to your Christmas party though, maybe next year.”

"All went super last night. Not a great turn out but people will be sorry they missed it when word gets around – and appreciate you putting notice on your website. On one or two guests heard the music and came in. Your welcome and warm attitude in facilitating our requirement was fantastic. The room was great, and really appreciate the extra Brainbox room, and your guys responded so good to all of the requests made on the night. Appreciate all the extras you gave us like water, mirror, extra room etc.The guys ate very well with you at the bar – best they had in a long while. Our experience is that the Absolute is a fantastic hotel and high customer care performance. We’ll be back. Thank you again for being such a blessing to us."

"Many thanks to all the staff who were on duty at the Absolute Hotel last Friday night, October 21st. Fantastic night had by all my guests and it's all down to the professionlism of the staff, by way of the presentation of the Abbey Suite, the wine and bubbly display, not to mention the really tasty and generous portions of finger food. Compliments to the chef for the food, (everybody was raving about the sandwiches and hot food), the bar staff for their warm hospitality and genuine nice manner, the duty event manager (whose name escapes me) for his professional and efficent co-ordinaton. Not forgetting to include the cleaner on my email as regards to the spotless like new condition of the function room.  Total zen with those great candle canisters dotted around the room where the bar is. I knew from the moment I walked into the room that it was going to be a great night and it was! Special thanks to you're good self for the attention to detail and delivering my ideal night  as I hoped to mark this cornerstone in my life. I believe no hotel, regardless of where in the world, could bring out the very best in the way the team in the absolute did and for that I am very very grateful. My night in the absolute has left me with great memories of my 40th birthday."
