Lough Derg Cycleway – Lough Derg, which covers 32,000 acres, is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Ireland. Low hills and mountains with a shoreline of marvellous inlets and bays surrounding if offer a wealth of routes to choose from along quiet country roads with a relatively flat terrain. With its breathtaking scenery, the area has been referred to as a “cyclist paradise”.
